Through this time I’ve grown as a leader as well as a technologist, and I’ve built and led software development teams to provide solutions for industries as diverse as logistics, recruitment, and ISPs and one of my greatest rewards is seeing junior developers I mentored and coached achieve professional excellence in their own right.
I’ve held senior leadership positions including Head of Software Engineering, IT Manager and IT Director and I typically report directly to C-suite/MD level to provide advice and guidance on the art of the possible, and translate executive priorities into fully project-managed sprint plans.
My technical background includes system administration of Linux servers and AWS and other cloud platforms; automation and CI/CD workflows; database management; API development and integration, and backend web development using PHP and Laravel.
